Bev Dunn always had an interest in singing since a teenager which generated the interest to play a guitar as well as singing at local restaurant open stages in Ottawa and performances for the Gloucester talent and the Homegrown café talent show.
Bev further advanced her vocal skills attending the Whitham School of Arts and has performed at various venues within the Ottawa and surrounding areas. Bev had been part of the former Rolly Hammond Talent and Booking agent in Ottawa providing performances for the Tulip Festival, Wonderful Wednesday Series as well as live performances on CBC Television for the Heart Institute telethon and local restaurants/pubs and corporate venues.
Bev is a versatile singer who can sing a variety of genres of music from rock, pop, disco, blues, easy listening and jazz, a voice with depth and projection. She has experience singing with bands as well as in a small duo or trio groups.
Her current piano/keyboard accompaniment is Ed Bimm, former band member of the Five Man Electrical band and who currently plays for Johnny Vegas and the Cooper Brothers. Alternatively piano/keyboard player Everard DeSouza who also plays for Mystara band and formerly with Wicked Grin band.
